QEG was engaged directly by Petuna Aquaculture to supply and install a second 300 kW Midea air-cooled chiller at the Cressy No.3 Salmon Hatchery in Tasmania, expanding the cooling capacity of the system originally delivered by QEG under job 1432. The scope included a new Midea air-cooled chiller, a Wilo twin-head pump with VSDs, connection to the existing chilled water pipework, integration with the existing BMS and electrical systems, rigging and crane lift onto the concrete pad adjacent to the first chiller, and commissioning. The project included 12 months warranty and preventative maintenance.
